How to Craft Your Own Outdoor Pillow Covers
• Take multi colored duck cloth (which is nothing but a cotton fabric. It is full of plain natural fiber design) which matches your garden accessories and veranda furniture. Make sure it is mildew and water resistant.
• Put down the duck cloth in the side of front forwarding downwards.
• You have to quantify two squares about 17×17 inches in length and put an additional inch for stitching the closures. Mark these dimensions with a chalk.
• Now cut the duck cloth precisely as per the dimensions and pin them as one accordingly. Bear in mind to keep a margin of the half inch and confirm the front sides of the cloth are facing each other.
• After this has been finished, you can begin stitching. Keep taking away the pins as you stitch.
• To fix the thread correctly into the fabric you can sew a straight stitch closure by doing a few stitches up and down.
• Once you finished sewing the first side, stop at the corner and pick up the presser foot, and rotate the fabric to begin sewing the other side.
• To offer the pillow sharper ends you can chop a triangle from the ends of the cover after you have got to the last side.
• After you have done with sewing the three sides, keep the pillow cover into the pillow. Now stitch the unwrap portion of the cover. Crease the fabric inwards and when you come to the end of this side, fix and end the closure.
